Remote Online Notary Fees
- $25.00 for the first document being notarized
- ($10.00 for the notarization fee and $15.00 for the online fee)
- $8.00 for each additional document being notarized

Travel Fee For Any Mobile (In-Person) General Notary Work Provided:
- If signer is within 10 miles (one way) from the notary's location: $15.00
- If signer is within 11-20 miles (one way) from the notary's location: $25.00
- If signer is 21 miles, plus (one way) from the notary's location: $35.00 plus $1.00 for each additional mile over 20 miles

Can a notary provide witnesses for my document signing?

For Remote Online Notarizations (RON), we can provide a qualified witness in seconds during your online session for an additional fee.

What are the maximum notary fees allowed by the State of Texas?
Contact Us!Tex. Gov't. Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public, or their employer, may charge for notary public services. Notaries public may charge the following fees:
- Protesting a bill or note for non-acceptance or non-payment, register and seal: ($4.00)
- Each notice of protest: ($1.00)
- Protesting in all other cases : ($4.00)
- Certificate and seal to a protest: ($4.00)
- Taking the acknowledgment or proof of any deed or other instrument in writing, for registration, including certificate and seal:
- for the first signature: ($10.00)
- for each additional signature: ($1.00)
- Administering an oath or affirmation with certificate and seal: ($10.00)
- All certificates under seal not otherwise provided for: ($10.00)
- Copies of all records and papers in the Notary Public's office, for each page: ($1.00)
- Taking the depositions of witnesses, for each 100 words: ($1.00)
- Swearing a witness to a deposition, certificate, seal, and other business connected with taking the deposition: ($10.00)
- All notarial acts not provided for: ($10.00)
According to the Texas Secretary of State's office, online notaries may charge up to $25.00 for each notarization they perform in addition to regular notary charges authorized by Tex. Gov’t Code §406.024.
For example:
- A.) If an online notary public notarizes the signature of one person, the charge will be: $35.00 (i.e., $25.00 for the online notary fee + $10.00 for the regular notary charge = $35.00).
- B.) If an online notary public notarizes the signatures of two persons named in the same notarial certificate, the charge will be: $36.00 (i.e., $25.00 for the online notary fee + $10.00 for the regular notary charge + $1.00 for the additional person = $36.00).
- C.) If an online notary notarizes the signatures of two persons, and there are separate notarial certificates for each signing party, the charge will be: $70.00 (i.e., $25.00 for the online notary fee for the first person + $10.00 for the first notarization and $25.00 for the online notary fee for the second person + $10.00 for the second notarization, which totals $70.00).
